Working with the O'Brien Clan to create a collection of truly authentic experiences
Following months of planning with the Prince of Thomond, Sir Conor O’Brien, the present Chief of the O’Briens and direct descendent of Brian Boru, along with the O’Brien Clan Board and charitable foundation based in the USA, we have developed an extensive series of self-guided and chauffeured tours developed by the O’Brien Clan board in conjunction with IrishTourism.
Ronan Gleeson, Managing Director of IrishTourism said “having recently met with members of the O’Brien Clan board including present Chief of the O’Briens and Prince of Thomond, Sir Conor O’Brien, I am very excited to offer our personalized services to all those who are interested in one of the greatest stories in Irish history. In the past few months, I have personally travelled to many of the relevant locations associated with Brian Boru and the Battle of Clontarf including Killaloe, Cashel, Clontarf and finally Armagh in Northern Ireland where a plaque now marks the resting place of the greatest of Ireland’s High Kings.
